Digital Depths is a level originally designed for Chapter 5; however, late into the development cycle, it was revamped to be at the start of Chapter 6 following balancing and pacing feedback from play testing reports.

As part of the revamp process, this level got most of its platforming challenges redesigned to have an increased difficulty rating, along with having the types and location of enemies updated, and decreasing the availability of health pickups.
