Crimson Zone

Crimson Zone is the second half of the level that used to be Violet Zone, back in the earliest stages of development. Just like its predecessor, it went through significant changes during the development process.

Like the other non-boss levels of Chapter 3, Crimson Zone was a collaborative effort, as further detailed in the Violet Zone section, given that its early versions were developed by the amazing designer Camila Kukulski (former Level Designer at Wabisabi). Eventually, after the game's base mechanics got reworked and the level requirements evolved, it was my responsibility to redesign the level, updating it for the newer and faster speed, tighter metrics, and improved design guidelines, while preserving its original core identity.
